🔍 Spotlight: Ente

Ente is an open source and privacy-focused alternative to Apple & Google Photos. Ente provides you with a fully open source, end-to-end encrypted platform for you to store your data in the cloud without needing to trust the service provider. Additionally, it comes with features like 3x data replication, private sharing, collaborative albums, easy import/export, background uploads, and much more.

According to their website, over 34 million photos have been saved with Ente. The GitHub projects has over 5k stars, and is distributed under AGPL-3.0 license.
